REPORTING WORK-CONNECTED INJURIES – REPORTING WORK-CONNECTED FATALITIES AND SERIOUS INJURIES
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 342(a) (2018) – A non-occupational death of an employee that occurred in a hospital was not reportable under §342(a). There was no allegation that the death occurred in the workplace, and the Division was not prejudiced by the late report.
